Three months ago I decided to trash the big wedding and go for 12 people in a garden. I chose wisely by having it at Gramercy. The staff handled every detail completely and thoroughly resulting in a one-of-a-kind wedding. In grounds that beautiful, it is impossible not to enjoy yourself!

On top of that, the Hunt Room was beautiful and comfortable-- not frilly and fussy, but elegant and relaxing. After a delicious dinner at The Milton Inn (WOW! A must do!), my husband and I returned for a quiet night to our "romanticized" room (roses and candles galore!). There was a large wedding going on downstairs, but neither of us would have known it and slept wonderfully (and I am a very light sleeper!). The breakfast was delicious and the grounds are beautiful to wander.

Gramercy reminds me of visiting a very old relatives home--filled to the brim with oddities and surprises around every corner. We can't wait to come back next year for our anniversary--I have the inkling we will be back for a visit much sooner!

If you are looking for a unique Bed and Breakfast you must stay at the Gramercy Mansion in Baltimore County, MD. Wide selection of themed rooms, excellent service, quiet, beautiful grounds (100 acres, I believe) lots of history behind it, and it is waiting for that special moment when you want to celebrate something special.

Ready for a quiet romantic evening with your special someone.

Bring camera, no smoking, charming atmosphere.

There are truly no words to describe the Gramercy. You must experience it to fully understand the beauty, ambience, and comfort of this spectacular B & B. From the moment you drive onto the grounds up a winding road covered with trees and foilage (which were spectacular in the autumn), to check in with the friendliest staff, to the room accomodations, to the delicious breakfast........there is nothing like it.

On this particular stay we were in the Tower Room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The inviting fire place and huge whirlpool tub were a wonderful way to relax after walking around the grounds of the Gramercy.

The breakfast menu is extensive and everything we have tried so far has been delicious. I highly recommend the omelet and the banana pancakes are simply wonderful.

You will not regret choosing the Gramercy. Experience it for yourself and you will be back time and time again.

“Swimmers Beware!”

I wanted to take my girlfriend away for a nice weekend and thought the Gramercy offered just the right amount of romance along with some great perks like the olympic sized pool they talk about on their website.

We got there on Friday night and because it was late, we went out for a nice dinner and then took a walk around the grounds. The gounds are very beautiful with alot of trails for hiking.

Our breakfast was very good and the entire stay would have been perfect if we could have enjoyed the pool area. All day on Saturday, there was a bunch of young kids diving into the water, yelling and screaming. We tried to overlook the noise and enjoy the water since it was very hot outside but it was impossible because the kids kept splashing and being very obnoxious. It was like trying to swim at DisneyLand! Not very romantic or enjoyable.

Luckily, our room was very nice so we ended up spending the afternoon watching movies - too hot for anything else.

Our stay was a bit disappointing and we probably wouldn't stay there again during the summer months.

My husband and I stayed there last week and the staff was very accommodating. When we arrived they upgraded us to the Tudor Room. The Tudor room had its own patio with french doors that looked out into the gardens. We sat out there and enjoyed our wine that was complimentary. Everything was there ,that we needed. There were extra pillows and blankets and beach towels for the pool. The pool was great for how warm it was. There was an amazing number of butterflys out there. We went out to dinner and we had ordered the romance package. When we came back our room was candlelit with rose petals all over. Its was so beautiful.Anyways , the next morning we had breakfast on the outside patio. They use alot of the herbs from there organic farm. The eggs benedict was great and my husband loved the banana pancakes. What a great getaway!!!
