I have never experienced a more enjoyable stay than with this hotel in Maryland. The front desk was exceptional, the manager was very accommodating, the morning breakfast was very nicely displayed and very delicious. My compliments to the manager and his staff. They need to be given a compliment worth their efforts. I travel a great deal and when you come upon an establishment such as this one you are very greatful for all their help. We had our family reunion here on July 28-JULY 30. First of all there was no iron in the rooms. Second no fitted sheets on the bed. Third the carpet in the room was very filthy. Fourth the room had a odor had to go to the store to get air freshener.Fifth the pool closed at 7:30 p.m. when it was suppose to close at 8:00 p.m. which is still early. Every hotel I stayed to the pool usually stayed open until 10:00 p.m. Sixth the receptionist was very rude on Saturday night at 7:40 p.m. when I called and asked her why the pool was closing so early. I guess the only thing I can say postive about this hotel is that the housekeeper employees was very friendly and helpful.

The phone did not work in my room. I had to pay 50 cents to call my own uncle who lived in the county! The heat did not work! I had my thermostat turned to 90 degrees and the vents were still blowing ice cold air! The continental breakfast looked stale.

The complementary breakfast was awful. The lobby was so small that you couldn't fit a flea in it! You can tell this was a very old motel with new carpet. The bathroom was very old and small.
