I recently booked a group block of 10 rooms at this hotel. Jennifer, the sales associate was terrific and extremely helpful in recommending contacts for ground transportation and groups sales tickets at the Orioles. Thanks to her we had GREAT club level seats and comfortable ground transport.
I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms in this hotel. Jennifer did inform me that the hotel had recently undergone renovations, but I continued to think of Days Inn as a 1-2 star hotel - not this one though!. The rooms were very neat and clean. The decor made me felt akin to a Marriott (where I usually try to stay). All of the guests in my group had positive comments about their rooms, which included a queen bed, couch & coffee table, desk, and dorm size fridge & microwave! I thought there was ample space for all of these things. In the am we enjoyed the full breakfast at the restaurant. This included fruit, pastry, bacon, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt and pancakes. Food was good.
Overall, this hotel was extremely well priced for the location and accommodations. I would highly recommend it for families. It is 2 blocks from the baseball stadium and about 4 blocks from the inner harbor - all easily within walking distance. I will definitely consider this hotel the next time I'm in the area!
The only negative that I experienced was that the TV in the room was an older model and the color and images on the screen were not as sharp as I'd like.
Group rate $189 during Red Sox game weekend!
