I stayed here one night while I was in town for a baseball game. I wasn't expecting much based on previous Days Inn stays, but this place was perfect. It was only 5 mins walk from Camden Yards and 5 mins from the Inner Harbor. It is directly across the street from the Convention Ctr. The rate was much better than any other hotel I could find in the area of the stadium( half the price of the other hotels- Our rate was $129). It is a very easy drive from the major highways. Parking is in a garage directly behind the hotel, at a rate of $18 per day. We arrived early and no rooms were available but we were able to park and they stored our luggage for us. The room itself was small but fine for one night. The bathroom was particularly small, with the sink/vanity out in the room. If you are staying for a long time with a lot of luggage the size of the room could be a problem. We had a micro/fridge combo in the room which was good. Our room was on the first floor, near the main entrance, so I was worried about noise but I didnt hear anything during the night. I took note to the other 'camden yards' hotel locations and while they were a little closer to the stadium, they are all behind the stadium and therefore a further walk to Inner Harbor. This place was a great deal and fantastic location and I will keep it in mind for future trips.

We stayed at the Days Inn Inner Harbor the weekend of August 4th because we were in town for the Virgin Music Festival...which was awesome!!

As for the hotel:

Accessability: It was easy to find with directions we printed from Mapquest. It is a great location, within walking distance to just about everything including the Metro/Subway which is what we took to the festival and that too was easy to navigate.

Parking: It is right next door in a parking garage, which I do not believe is owned by the hotel. I think it is a little crazy that they make their guests pay for parking. You pay over-exaggerated rates to stay downtown and closer to inner-harbor, the least they can do is include the parking in the room rate....because they also do not include a continental breakfast like most hotels do.

Rooms: we requested a NON-SMOKING room and there was not an ashtray in sight, but the smell when you walked in the door could of knocked you over. I think that if a hotel has designated non-smoking rooms they should enforce that policy for those said rooms because there are people out there who do prefer to sleep in a hotel room that does not smell of stale cigarettes. However, we were late getting to the festival and decided not to switch rooms and to just get on with our day and why we were in B-town to begin with....the concert. :o)

The rooms were pretty standard. We had a queen bed, sofa and coffee table and side table and tv and armoire. They also provide you with a small refrigerator and microwave (probably why breakfast in not included either). They did have a coffee pot that distributed coffee directly into a mug, but unfortunately we weren't give any coffee mugs so we didn't get to use that for our morning caffeine fix. The beds are hard....so be prepared for that. The sink is outside of the bathroom so it is easy for two people to get ready at the same time.

Room Service: we ordered room service and it was pretty good. However, be warned that they do include the 18% gratuity to the bill and their prices on their menu do not always match the prices that you are charged....just a warning.

Not sure if we would stay here again, probably stay somewhere else or maybe just make a day trip up to Inner Harbor if we were to return again. Like I said....it could be better, it could be worse.

Happy and Safe Travels!!

My husband and I went up to Baltimore for a baseball game and were pleased to find the hotel only about four blocks from Camden Yards and about four blocks (other direction) from the Inner Harbor.
The room is about what you would expect from a Days Inn -- small (bathroom is a toilet and shower, sink is out in the room) and not extrememly comfortable, but it serves its purpose...especially for one night.
We did have a couple of minor gripes. The bed was billed as a queen, but felt more like a double, and it had definitely seen its share of occupants. Soft and saggy, the bed was not conducive to turning without waking up your partner. Also adding to our restless sleep, the numerous fire trucks blasting down the street throughout the night and early morning. Obviously, there is a station nearby, but it was seriously louder than any of the dozens of times I've slept in Manhattan.
It's in a centralized location -- the convention center and arena are less than a block away -- and the hotel does provide a connecting parking garage ($18 for overnight, $20 if you leave the car there during the game).
It's a reasonable price compared to the higher-end places on the block, but there's also a good chance those places have walls that are better insulated.

I was nervous about the location since I traveled by train, and didn't rent a car. However, everything worked out fine. It is only a 10 minute cab ride from Amtrak, and 2 blocks to the Maryland Light Rail at Camden Yards. In the opposite direction was Inner Harbor, about 3-4 blocks.

Check in was quick and efficient. The front desk rep was very friendly and asked if I needed directions to attractions. The room itself was clean. Had microwave, refridgerator, and coffee maker. (The coffee didn't taste good however.) My only gripe was the bathroom. My room was a handicap-accessible one. I am not handicapped, it was the only room available. I noticed the handrails (good) low toilet(good), and very high sink. Someone correct me, but should a sink be chest high for a wheelchair accessible room? And the tiles need to be redone. Their age is showing.
Otherwise it was a great place to stay, and would certainly go there again.

I was part of a youth group (26 people total) who arrived at the Days Inn just as most people were checking out on a game day Saturday morning. We had reservations and the hotel was completely booked, so there were LOTS of people milling around. The desk staff were all polite, efficient, and knowledgeable, as were the waitresses and cleaning folks who we asked for lunch and shopping recommendations for our large group of teenagers. Everyone was eager to please. We had all 10 of our rooms within 30 minutes of our arrival and we were there 3 hours early! The hotel is well-decorated, clean, and comfortable. The rooms have a sink, mirror, and hairdryer separate from the toilet and shower. The bathroom even has an exhaust fan! The beds were extremely comfortable and the a/c worked very well.
The hotel is three blocks from the Inner Harbor and three blocks from Camden Yards. We had a very bad experience the previous week at a Sheraton in DC so this was a welcome relief. Great hotel, staff, and service. Highly recommended.
