Facility is very dirty. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke and you can see a line of dust around the entire room. Mold/mildew in shower and the ceiling is damaged from the mildew. Our door had been vandalized and poorly repaired. Sidewalks, stairwells are very dirty. Front desk less than helpful. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Just keep on driving. You'll be glad you did. The restaurant next to the hotel provided decent food/drink and had a great Jazz band so we made the best of it, but it was a bit scary and like other reviews we couldn't wait to check out! Does not represent Quality Inn or Choice Hotels well.

We checked in on a Friday night. Adjoining bar was jumping. We presented our card through bullet proof glass. Next morning we checked out the continental breakfast and the room (right, not in the lobby, but another hotel room) smelled terrible. Got a couple of packaged items and left. The carpet was sticky. I wore crocs in the room to keep my feet off the rug. the toilet was sluggish and we asked them on Saturday morning to fix it. Saturday night it only got worse. We called on Sunday morning and a nice maintenance person came and fixed it. Would I stay there again? No Chance. The motel is in an industrial area and feels really unsafe.

This place was dirty. The bathroom floor and tub were very dirty. A bug was found. The fridge had 2 inches of ice in it and the hotel clerk didn't care that meds needed refridgeration.
The list to address was getting longer as the staff there was not helpful nor cared. Next came the mouse in the room. Still yet getting a new room was difficult.. Assistance was needed to move into a new handicap room and the desk clerk said no one was available to help at all.
Not a place to stay at all.

I booked a room because I needed to be near Kernan Hospital which is nearby and I didn't have a car. The hotel was supposed to have a shuttle. I checked in and when I asked about the shuttle they looked at me with a blank stare. The room was in the back, on the ground floor with a view of an overflowing dumpster. It was dirty, small, the bed sagged, and the smell of smoke in this 'non-smoking' room was overpowering. I tried to make the best of it, but after seeing the secuity chain had been broken on the door and the soft drink machine was smashed in, I went to the front desk and checked out immediately. When they asked why, I told them the hotel was not acceptable and they did not seem surprised. They told me I would have to pay for the room anyway and to contact the manager. I did contact him later via email and received a return message apologizing and saying I would be refunded the money. I never did get the refund and no response to later email asking where it was.
