Then this is the place for you! Within easy walking distance of Oriole Park @ Camden Yards, light rail, the Convention Center & all Inner Harbor attractions . . . however, the accomodations are average at best & do not justify the high published rates. (We paid less than half of the published rates through Priceline.) Our room was tiny (that was NOT a queen-size bed!) & amenities minimal. We were in the Tower, which was fine since we weren't interested in the restaurant, pool or fitness center, all of which were in the Main building & easily accessible through a covered breezeway. There is a busy fire station across the street, but we hardly noticed. Daniel, the manager, was very helpful. He immediately switched us to a non-smoking room with no trouble & even gave us some points about visiting nearby Fells Point. If you're looking for something convenient with very basic amenities, this may work for you. But I strongly recommend checking out Priceline, Hotwire, etc., because this hotel is definitely not worth upwards of $175 per night.

The location is great. The room was lovely. I especially appreciated the 'customer service' focus of the staff. EVERYONE from the front desk (cleaning staff, restaurant staff0 to the Manager was couretous, professional, smiling, welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

I did not read the reviews on here before staying at the Holiday Inn. I wish that I had. We were in a room in the West Tower. It was quite dank and musty. The air conditioner made a rumbling sound even when it wasn't on. It was so bad that at around midnight we determined that we couldn't sleep and called the front desk to ask to be moved to another room. They did get us another room, but this one smelled worse and the air conditioner was almost as loud. Somehow we did finally get to sleep. When we got home the next night and I went to bed, something smelled bad and I realized that my pyjamas had carried the stench of the hotel home with me. Yuck.

The rooms in the main tower may be nicer, but I cannot speak to them. All I can tell you is that I will never be going back to this hotel.

After reading previous reviews, I requested a remodeled non-smoking king room in the main tower. I was told by the hotel that my request was subject to availability. When checking in we were told there were no rooms available in the main tower. Instead, we received a queen bed in a very small room in the west tower. The room had no television. Called down to the front desk and was told they would send someone from maintenance. I asked if we could just have a different room. We lugged our baggage back outside and across to the main tower to the check-in desk. We were given a king bed in the main tower. This room had a thermostat that did not work. Maintenance was sent to fix it. Thermostat still was not working after maintenance left. We requested a late check out. Normal check out time is 12:00pm, we were given a very generous 12:30pm check out time. At 12:00pm the coffee maker and televison shut down - I guess that was our signal to get out. Will not stay here again. Only redeeming factor is the location. Within walking distance to Inner Harbor.
