We stopped here on August 12th, 2008, on our way to Orlando for a family vacation. This hotel is located right off of 95 south, which is a perfect stop off for those travelling southbound. This 3story hotel is pretty new, built within the last month as i was one of the few guests, I believe. The front desk staff was friendly and acoomodating. The guest rooms were clean and nicely decorated(pillow top mattresses, plasma tv's, southern charm) and well insulated from noise. We were close to the elevator, and did not hear any comings or goings from other guests.
As Country Inns do, they offer a hot breakfast buffet in the mornings, which was not very impressive, but hey, it was free!
The hotel is about 15 minutes from historic Savannah and the riverwalk, so close enough without having to pay premium prices for staying downtown. It is also right near I-16 , which is a major straight that will take you downtown via the scenic route, and also lots of shopping, restaurants, etc along Abercorn.
