Our trolley driver told us about the Pirates House, so we hopped off the trolley and walked a block over to the quaint old building site for lunch on a Saturday in April, 2008. We enjoyed looking around outside and in the lobby while we waited for a table--there are lots of cute pirate oriented displays and items--good photo opportunities! The buffet looked good, and lots of customers were enjoying it, but we opted for ordering off the menu and rated our food good, but not great. The service was courteous and very prompt initially. The decor was cute, and we had fun with the paper pirate hat and earring, and with the costumed pirate that was roaming around.
