We had a great welcome from Lesley, our hostess and her two assistants Christina and Maianne. All of them contributed to making our stay a very happy one and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were outstanding. We would have no hesitation in recommending Catherine Ward House to any visitors to Savannah. It is just out of the main district of the Historic Town but quite close enough to it and all the facilities one needs as well as being off the main street, so is quiet and restful. It was a great start to our first trip to Georgia and South Carolina.

My mother and I stayed at the Catherine Ward House Inn in March of this year, and we had an absolutely delightful time. The owner and staff were wonderfully welcoming, the food was delicious and the house beautiful! The Inn is also right across from Forsyth Park, which makes for a nice walk after dinner or breakfast. This is one of the nicest b and b's I've ever stayed in.

I stayed a bit longer than most guests do--a week. Lovely place. It is located at the SE edge of the Historic District on a quiet street. This place is way better than any big hotel on noisy Bay Street.

Rooms are exactly as depicted on their website--there are no camera tricks. Breakfast is served in several sittings with an intimate number of guests. No large hotel feeling here. It is prepared by Leslie, the proprietor, each morning. Leslie easily arranges tours, dinner reservations and anything else a guest may want.

I highly recommend this place.

Our stay at the Catherine Ward House was a 10+++. We were greeted very warmly by Leslie, the proprietor, and showed to our beautiful room called Catherine's Room. It was such an airy, bright room. Each day that we were there a new bouquet of fresh flowers adorned the mantle of our fireplace. We even had fresh flowers in the bathroom. The crisp white bathrobes were also an unexpected and appreciated amenity.
And the breakfasts...WOW!!! Everyday it began with a champagne glass filled with fresh fruit, followed by the most srumptious breakfast you can ever imagine. My personal favorite was the croissant filled with cream cheese and fresh strawberries made similar to french toast. Absolutely to die for!!! Of course, if that didn't suit you there were other options.
We so enjoyed talking to Cristina who works at the Catherine Ward House. What a delightful, energetic, and enthusiatic young woman. She and Leslie make a wonderful combination.

The restaurant that we truly enjoyed was called Firefly, and if you have an evening free, get tickets for a production at the Savannah Theater. We so enjoyed the performance called "Back to the 50's.
