“Great hotel!”

This hotel was beautiful, both inside and out. There was plenty of complimentary parking, and the lobby was great. There are couches and quaint little areas to spend time socializing. The pool was quite small, and there was no jacuzzi, but this wasn't a big deal for me. Also, note that it can be a little loud outside, as it looked like military planes were flying right over the hotel frequently (again, this wasn't a big deal, but can be a little annoying if you are sensitive to loud noises). The place was very quiet at night, and it felt very safe and clean. The rooms were spacious and definitely worth the price. We even had a microwave and mini-refrigerator in our room. There is a separate bedroom and living room area, and the TV swivels so you can watch it from either room. The location was pretty convenient, a short drive to the historic district of Savannah and near plenty of stores and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was pretty bad - the selection was very small; but, it was free, so I can't complain. You can always go downtown or to one of the nearby restaurants for breakfast if it doesn't satisfy you. I'd definitely stay here again.

This was the first time that we had been to Savannah and we were so happy with our experience. We really wanted a hotel in the historic area, but settle on the Oglethorpe and we are so glad that we did. From the moment that we checked in till the time that we checked out everyone was so helpful and curteous. The atrium was sparkling clean the whole weekend, even when the FREE continental breakfast was going on. The suites were fabulous and extremely quite. We did not hear any sounds in the middle of the night such as slamming doors or even our neighbors walking by. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the historic area and that was great. I will definetly stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Savannah. For the price and location it is wonderful!!!

It was very nice. Everyone was friendly and it wasn't far from historical part. I would stay there again. There was a great mall almost next door which was great for a rainy day.

From the moment we parked and walked in, we were wowed. It is an incredibly lovely property and there is a gorgeous atrium just past the desk, where people eat the free continental breakfast. The desk staff were very gracious with big smiles. Everyone was just so pleasant, our room was really nice and spacious, and the breakfast was fresh and good. We will be back!

When you pull up to this Inn you can tell everything is going to be great. The staff was great, and housekeeping. The room was perfect. I rate this a 10+
