Yes, it was expensive. Around $200 for my husband and I with a bottle of wine, no dessert. The gnocchi was great, very fresh....not the best sauce I've had, but it was good. The service was great! You could tell that this guy was a professional! We were very pleased overall.

If you want to eat ordinary Italian food surrounded by tourists at astonishing prices, Il Pasticcio is for you. We paid $73.56 (!!) for two (not very good) pasta dishes, a salad ($14), a glass of wine and a diet cola. Service was rushed (we weren't in a hurry but the staff was) and not very thoughtful. Never again.

We had made our way to Savannah from Hilton Head after going to the golf tournament..There were many restaurants we wanted to try but after meeting a waiter where we had lunch, he highly recommended IL Pasticcio. The wine list is fabulous and the muscles appetizer was just delicious...Home made pasta and veal was good too..The best part of our dining experience was our waiter Joe .He is so professional and makes you feel like you are the only two people there...He knows the menu inside and out also great with wine suggestions.We will come back next year.
