Great hotel itself with nicely appointed rooms but staff never treated me like i was a valued guest even though i am a diamond member of hhonors program. shuttle unavailable for pickup from airport, it cost 20 bucks for my husband, son, and me to take taxi to hotel a half mile away. same problem the next morning to go pick up a rental car. staff unfriendly and unapologetic. breakfast was nice, normal breakfast "upgrade" fee for hot items. i wanted dinner from the restaurant which is advertised as open from 6am to 11pm each day but staff told me that they were closed and only open certain hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and suggested nearby waffle house. i stayed two nights but ended up checking out and staying at another local hotel for the remainder of my trip. i did not feel welcome or appreciated by the staff at this hotel. NOT what i expect from a hotel in the HHonors program; management response was indignant when i addressed my issues with him.
if you stay at this hotel, don't expect an automatic upgrade. instead, ask for a lakeview.
