We went to the Savannah Visitors Center looking for a Hop On/Off Tour, and chose Old Savannah Tours because they said they were the oldest locally owned tour company and were the same price ($23) as the other On/Off Tour operator. We were very pleased with Old Savannah--the trolleys came at least every 20 minutes as promised, Old Savannah seemed to have the most available trolleys on the streets, all of the tour guides were informative, entertaining, and attentive to their guests' needs, the ticket seller in the parking lot took credit cards, and they gave us a voucher for free parking in the Visitors Center lot. I would strongly recommend Old Savannah for your On/Off Tour.

I went to Savannah with a friend back in March. We decided to take the Spirits Stroll the first night we got there. Our tour guide was great. I'm not interested in ghosts but I did enjoy hearing about the history of Savannah. We walked through the downtown streets and around a couple of squares. We took the Paula Deen tour the next day and we had a great guide for that one also. We had the best time. We got to see some of the places were Paula shops and we even got to eat lunch at Uncle Bubba's. I would recommend either of these tours to anyone who is going to Savannah.

I was so hungry for information and history of this beautiful historic district. So much history! but felt the tourguides (on a whole) were not very helpful as I had hoped. I had the on and off ticket. It all depeneded on who was driving at the moment, some were good and some were not so good. I would find another tour if I return to Savannah. I also took a ghost tour with this company and it was very disappointing. Can't recommend this company

I feel sorry to be Jefferson's understudy because those are some amazingly huge shoes to fill. Definitely worth the price of admission, and then some.

We got picked up from our hotel on time and as pre-determined. We were shuttled to the Old Savannah Tour base and waited about 5-10 minutes for Jefferson to prepare the bus for our departure. For the next hour or hour and a half, Jefferson took around to a lot of places throughout the Historic District and beyond. This tour covers a lot more ground than the other tour companies and the amount of history and stories told by Jefferson is unbelievable. The only detractor from this experience is the informational overload all passengers seem to go through. At about the half way point, all get a chance to stretch their legs, get a beverage or food, and make a pit stop. Then, it is off for the remainder of the tour.

The whole experience is so amazing and, almost, overwhelming that I can't find words to appropriately describe this tour. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. By far, it was the highlight of an otherwise amazing 3 days in Savannah.

My husband and I went on this tour because we are big fans of Paula Deen. It was very interesting to hear about her life and experiences and how she got where she is today. Our tour guide, Mary Jane was wonderful. We saw the places that Paula shopped and the site of her first house and restaurant. We got lovely goody bags with coupons and treats inside. We stopped at Polk's produce and Bryd Cookie Company and also had lunch at Uncle Bubba's and got to meet Bubba. The lunch buffet was awesome. The tour was about 5 hours and was a bargain at $56, including lunch. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of Paula Deen!
