The 1895 Inn is a warm and inviting place to stay. The homemade breakfasts are outstanding. The rooms and overall decor are world class. Ed is a gracious and helpful host who works to make guests relaxed and welcomed.

Parking is easy. Location is top notch for walking around Savannah or for driving to surrounding cities. We have already recommended it to people who are coming to Savannah. Thanks Ed for your hospitality.

The 1895 Inn is the best place to stay in Savannah. Ed was excellent in providing information concerning the city, the best way to get around town and everything we needed to make a great vacation.

The Inn was excellent. The breakfast was 5 star.

My husband and I took a 10-day road trip to celebrate our 30th anniversary. One of our destinations was Savannah. I came across The 1895 Inn website on an internet search. When I clicked on the customer comments and starting reading all of the great reviews I knew I had found our B&B in Savannah. The dates we were going to be in town were not available so we reworked our schedule. It was the wisest decision we could have made! Every good comment you have read over and over in these reviews about Ed and The 1895 Inn are absolutely true. He is a gracious and humorous host. The home is impeccably decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were some of the best food we had on our trip. Ed seems to be able to read his guests very well and recommends suitable restaurants and sights to see. All of the extras he provided were greatly appreciated. We especially liked the wine and cheese gatherings and took to calling it Happy Hour. We arrived as strangers and left feeling like we were leaving a family member. The only thing we missed was meeting Robert. Ed, let us know when you get to Michigan, we'll have a room waiting for you in our home anytime!!

My husband and I just returned from our anniversary trip to Savannah. We had the pleasure of staying at the 1895 Inn and can't speak highly enough!!! Ed was a very gracious host and everything was perfect. We checked in on Friday around lunch and he had our map and everything all ready to go for us. We took a trolley around Savannah and came back for Wine and Cheese to meet our fellow vacationers. While our weekend wasn't the greatest weather or luckwise, we were most lucky to have the opportunity to stay at the 1895 Inn. I would send anyone I met there and would know they would have a great stay as well!
