This place was fabulous!
I booked my reservation online, and called the hotel soon after to let them know that we'd have our 8 month old baby with us. I just wanted them to be aware in case any couples were off on a romantic getaway and didn't want a baby in the next room. They were just wonderful and even sent up a baby care package to our room upon arrival!
The hotel itself was exquisite. Absolutely beautifully decorated from the entry way, to the hallway, to the elevator, to the bedroom.
The service was wonderful as well... there were about three guys standing next to our car as soon as we drove up ready to help with luggage, valet, etc. We didn't have to open our own door once as we entered and exited the hotel.
One thing I will say... once you turn in for the night, if you're planning on taking a nice bath, reading, sleeping, whatever... put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door. My husband and I were relaxing in tub at 10:30pm when someone knocked on our door... we waited, hoping they'd leave. No, another knock! It was room service asking if we needed more towels. So, just put that sign up and you'll be golden.
We've stayed at the Hotel Valencia in San Antonio, the Waldorf Astoria in NYC, the Westin Grande in Berlin, Germany, Ti Kaye Village in St. Lucia, Sandestin in Florida and the Hotel Zaza in Houston... and this hotel and service surpassed them all.
