We stayed here recently and as you can read if you follow a gluten free diet as my husband does, the Inn will cater for this. The cook (Charlotte) even made gluten free cookies one afternoon.
The Inn is ideal for sightseeing as it is in the heart of the historic district, there are plenty of good restaurants and the reception will give you a disc for car parking as there are restrictions in this area.
The rooms are modest but adequate for a short stay, beware ot the stairs as we were on the top floor with heavy luggage to carry, but in all an enjoyable stay.

For our roadtrip around Dixie, we knew we had to stay in the historic heart of Savannah. I was not prepared for the prices charged to stay in the locale, so we decided to splurge (within reason). We booked the cheapest room possible in the rafters of the B&B Inn and on arriving we were told that because of renovations we had been upgraded (free of charge) to the Oriental Suite. One look at its four-poster bed piled high with silk cushions and we were utterly charmed.

Check-in was friendly, fast and informative. Because of our 2-night stay we were giving a free parking pass for the car. There's a PC to check your emails. Each afternoon they have free refreshments like iced tea, wine, freshly-baked cakes and other treats. Breakfasts were varied with plenty of choice. They have a shaded balcony overlooking the courtyard out back or there's the grand dining lounge with views over the square.

The room itself was beautifully appointed with Far Eastern artworks. However, on closer inspection the fittings didn't quite live up to the pricetag. The bathroom floor was cheap lino, the taps and bath were bog standard and there were some rough edges to the finishes. Plus the TV reception was terrible and there was no view out the window except of tree branches. People with higher standards might expect more for their money, but we had no complaints and loved our stay here.

Despite being near Forsyth Park and thus a bit of a distance from the riverfront, there is plenty to see and do close by. We found some wonderful eateries and nightstpots nearby, like the Crystal Beer Parlor and Firefly Cafe.

We stayed for a couple of nights, and loved it. We breakfasted on their balcony, and really enjoyed it. The location is superb, just opposite the Mercer House. The staff were very helpful, and the room was spotless. The only complaint we have is that there weren't any bedside lights.

We stayed at this B&B for one night in June. It was exactly what we were looking for - unique, friendly, within walking distance to Savannah sites, somewhat romantic. We booked a room online and got a great deal on the master bedroom which had a private balcony.

The staff were all very helpful - and there were nice touches like cookies & tea in the afternoon.

The best part was sitting on the private balcony in the rocking chairs in the evening! Really made it feel like you were at home in Savannah, rather than just visiting. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

“Real hospitality”

The Bed & Breakfast Inn

A very welcoming, comfortable, friendly, helpful and hospitable 3 night stay at this historic and character location.
If you do not want to stay at a clone hotel with clone food and staff in the midst of traffic and tourists, this is the place to stay in Savannah, fronting one of the famous green squares.
Every room is uniquely furnished to a high standard. Breakfasts are original and prepared to order by the resident chef. 'Afternoon tea' is most welcoming, rooms and facilities most comfortable and well appointed.
Eating and socialising is in the dining room or outside on the deck or lower gardens.
All the sites and eating establishments are within easy walking distance.
