We spent two nights (Aug 13-15) at the Olde Savannah Inn and we had a wonderful time. The Inn is breathtaking beautiful with elegant furnishings and sparkling chandeliers throughout. We stayed in the Provence room which is beautifully appointed with luxurious linens, bose radio and a large flat screen TV. This room also had its own private entrance and courtyard. Kathleen is a gracious host that thinks of everything! She had a cab waiting for us at the airport. made dinner reservations, arranged for the tour bus to pick us up at the inn, and even handled the printing out of our airport boarding passes and return cab ride back to the airport. She offered every afternoon a glass of wine and mouthwatering sweets freshly baked. We were pampered and spoiled! The ultimate gourmet feast was her breakfasts. Each morning there was french pressed coffee, juice, fresh fruits, bacon and sausage. The first morning we were served Kathleen's blueberry pancakes with homemade whipped cream. The second morning, we were served shrimp and grits and strawberry waffles. The breakfasts were scrumptious prepared and delicious. Oh, what a treat! The Inn is located in a very quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Forsythe Park and many places of interest in the city. We loved our stay at the Olde Savannah Inn and the special time we spent with Kathleen and Dakota. We look forward to our return visit. Larry and Cherie
