Kathleen has a beautiful home and done a great job of keeping the charm of old Savannah though all that she has done. The breakfasts were outstanding. Note the breakfasts are perhaps not for the calorie counters, but at this quality who cares about the calories. Kathleen spent much time on making sure our trip was very enjoyable. All i can really say is thank-you Kathleen for a great weekend.

Innkeeper Kathleen Dupuis has a mission in life - to serve others and to ensure that those who stay at her inn are pampered, taken care of, and loved. This place is special. You feel the serenity and calm as you walk up the stairs into Kathleen’s beautiful inn. This was my first trip to Savannah and I did not have time to figure out what to do. Kathleen did it for me. The massage she scheduled within hours of my arrival was a great way to de-stress. Her restaurant recommendations were superb; I loved the Old Pink House. I stayed in the Bellevue room and slept better than I have in years. The linens, the ambience, the warmth & hospitality were all small touches that created special place. Kathleen has contacts that deliver services on time and with a smile. I will be back soon and can say nothing except exceptional things about The Olde Savannah Inn. Kathleen's breakfasts ensure you will not have to eat lunch. They are amazing!

Our first visit to Savannah, Georgia was wonderful!! We were greeted by the Innkeeper, Kathleen, who was attentive to our every need and desire. We have fallen in love with her beautiful Inn, and have a new best friend all in one trip. Kathleen, went miles out of her way to make our stay fantastic - cozy, gorgeous beds (even irons the sheets, no kidding), beautiful jacuzzi, pampering that does not end the whole while you are there, and providing gourmet pastries, and a breakfasts that rival the best in the south. She has a gorgious place and she is a wonderful person, who puts her guests first. We will return with friends!! Many thanks, Kathleen for a wonderful time.

“Kudos to Kathleen!”

The Olde Savannah Inn

23 Sep 2008

My husband and I just return from three fabulous nights at the Olde Savannah Inn. We both cannot say enough about this beautiful Inn, the service, our accommodations, the food, and the grounds.
However, what made our visit most special was definitely the owner-Kathleen.
She spoke to me on numerous occasions before our arrival helping to plan the perfect trip, discussing airport pick up, rooms, tours, dinner reservations, carriage rides and the list goes on.
Upon our arrival, she handed us each a glass of her "special tea" and made us feel right at home.
She prides herself on keeping a spotless Inn and it shows. We were in the
"Provence" room and loved that we had our own entrance out to the front. The sheets and towels were heavenly, the room clean, and the shower great.
During the late afternoon, I especially enjoyed relaxing with a good book on either porch while sipping wine and munching on her special snacks.
A turned down bed and a luscious treat met us nightly after we returned from a delicious dinner (thanks to her recommendation.)
Each breakfast was to die for- sinfully rich! A few of our favorite items were the caramelized bacon and rum sugar sausage, martini glasses overflowing with fresh fruit, raspberry chocolate Belgium waffles with wonderful whipped cream. We tasted both cheese and shrimp grits, stuffed pears with brie, raspberry sauce, and walnuts, French toast and eggs- this is just a sampling!
The best part of our trip was meeting Kathleen and her darling dog Dakota. After a long day around the city, we always wanted to come "home." This is why this Inn is so special. Stop now- book this Inn - you will have a unique stay and meet a wonderful new friend.
