My partner and I booked a room here in July 2008 and it was awful. We stayed one night and then left for a hotel in the historic district.
A friend of the owner's let us into the property-- the owner was nowhere to be found--and watched as we struggled our way upstairs with all of our luggage.
The bathtub was so stained I rubbed it down with a washcloth to make sure I wasn't showering in someone else's dirt.
There was no one to provide recommendations for places to eat or directions to downtown, which was a good ten-minute drive away-- no where near walking distance.
There was an abandoned house across the street.
The TV and internet connection didn't work and breakfast consisted of a few danishes from Costco and a pot of coffee with powdered creamer!
And we paid $150 for this.
If you go to Savannah, consider the Marshall House. Do not stay at this B&B.
