First of all I was well pleased with the rooms, they were very clean, plenty of towels. I would give them an A on that at first the front desk was very helpful. There is a lot of noise and people stumbling around at all hours of the night but I did not let that bother me. However I went down on monday night to extend our stay through Wednesday night and that is where the trouble began I asked the young man if I could get the same rate for Wed nite we had through Hotels.com for sat-tues he said yes, but that someone had entered us at the full rate and not the hotels.com rate and it would all have to be changed he could change mon through wed but not sat and sun I would have to talk to the manager Connie so I started trying to contact her but she would not return my calls and we had not spoken so there were no conflicts. Finally on the day of departure still no Connie and I was told she was not there to try calling back whereupon my son demanded to see a manager, who pops out but connie who was not real friendly she ended up charging me the full amount (WED)as all I had was the young mans word which I should have got in writing also she charged two parking fees 7 dollars a day as I had two vehicles but one was my son and his fiance who had spent sat - tues at Valdosta Ga where she was from but it was to no avail she aimed to have that parking money so. I love Savannah but hated that a wonderful trip ended on a sour note.
