While I have stayed at Holiday Inns in the past, I was a little disappointed when I discovered that my husband had booked a Holiday Inn for our trip to Savannah, since we had a guest with us from out of the country. He assured me that he had stayed here before and that I would approve. He was right! This particular Holiday Inn should be placed in a separate category, as it was so much nicer than the typical Holiday Inns. A pianist was playing when we checked in and afternoon tea was being served. The "living room" was quiet and very tastefully decorated. A concierge greeted us after check-in and answered our questions. The rooms were comfortable and also quiet. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it so much. The Sunday breakfast buffet was delicious, but more importantly, it was relaxing. The staff was attentive and helpful. I have already told friends and family about this delightful hotel and would definitely recommend the Mulberry to anyone traveling to Savannah.
