This is a motel (NOT hotel) property badly in need of rennovation ... rooms are shabby, and there is a smell that permeates lobby and rooms due to old carpeting and drapes. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets and comforters were worn and old. Bathtub was stained. Our original 4 night reservation turned into a "let's get out of here at 5am" before the first night was over. This is one of a very few pet friendly properties in the Savannah historical district but please skip it. Price is same as other new, safe properties with interior corridors. We did not feel safe at all. Go to Staybridge Suites (pet fee is involved but well worth it) for same price or to La Quinta in Mid-town (less money (ut out of historical district). Do not stay at the Quality Inn ... we are sorry we did.

The room was not much to look at, and this is really a motel--with external room doors facing a busy street. A bit of a weird smell in the room. But the beds were really comfortable, a big plus for me. It is in a great location, and we were there in a busy season, but still seemed overpriced to me.

Stayed here for one of the busiest weekends of the year and was glad that we didn't have to move the car for the entire weekend! The motel looks like it's been updated recently, clean lobby & breakfast room, newer carpet & linens in the room. The bathroom was fair, not dirty, but the tile & tub could use a good bleaching. Make sure and ask for a courtyard room, much quieter than the rooms that face the street. Nice deluxe continental breakfast, biscuit & gravy, sausage, fruit, bagels, etc. Would definitely stay here again, good location for the price!

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to make reservations anyway, because the location seemed good, but the reviews on the rooms and staff were not so good. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! For one you cannot beat the location, secondly the room was really nice and very clean, the sheets etc, no complaints. The staff were all nice to deal with. The breakfast was great, we ate in every morning except one. Although you have a coffee maker in your room, they have coffe available all day long in the lobby; at 2 o'clock they put out home baked cookies, 3 varities that were delicious, and the cookies are there until about 7. I have no complaints, I intend to return to savannah, because I just loved it and I would absolutely stay at this motel.
