“My fave hotel!!”

I love staying at this hotel. I live in Dardanelle, AR about an hour and a half away and I stay there when I don't feel like driving home after shopping. I usually get the room that is right next to the pool and I think its very clean and convenient. I will always stay at this hotel. Its great for a getaway from the winter to swim in the warm pool and go shopping.

I was visiting my sister-in-law in Fort Smith and she said she set me up in a hotel called th 5th Season Inn. I havent stayed in a lot of hotels but i will say that my experience here was excellent , it was clean quiet and friendly. The breakfast was great as well instead of doughnuts , they had scrambled eggs waffles sausage french toast. All in all my stay there was very comfortable and relaxing.

We stayed the first weekend in August in Amarillo at the Fifth Season in and we had planned on just relaxing and swimming before school started again. We noticed the green looking pool as we walked in, but just thought it might be the chemicals in it to make it look that way. (There was scum floating around on the top of the pool) However, while we were getting bathing suits on we stepped out to see how busy the pool was and notice no one in the pool. The maintence men were netting something brown out of the pool and plopped it into the trash can and missed, and loudly said "EWWwwwww". They informed everyone that the pool was closed and we went back into our room and within 10 minutes there were new people in the pool again!(No one told them to get out) These poor folk did not know what they were swimming in...yuck! However, there was a black ring around the whole pool. It was nasty! We did not swim.(Which upset my nephew terribly!)
There is a lot of up keep that needs to be done there. Our trash was not taken out and the tub leaked continuously. The toilet ran until we lifted the lid to manuelly push the stopper down everytime we flushed.
The place could be very nice... but, there was just way too much that needed worked on. The fountain in the atrium was broken. Way too run down of a place for the price!

“Fifth Season Inn”

When I first arrived at the 5th Season Inn I did not think much from the outside. However, upon entering the hotel the staff could not have been friendlier. I really felt as if I was visiting my family. The hotel is not new by any means, but the character and old town charm can't be replaced by a new stark four white walls chain hotel. The atrium has a tropical feeling with flowing fountain. My suite was perfect with two bathroom vanity areas so I wouldn't have to wait for the bathroom to fix my hair. The night hostess couldn't have been more helpful, she prepared special food just for me without sodium. I will return next time I visit Fort Smith. I will recommend to all my friends!

“Don't Bother”

On a recent trip to Ft. Smith over Labor Day, I stayed at the Fifth Season Inn. I did not mind the wedding reception in the atrium. I did not mind the little league baseball team running around the motel. What I did mind was the lack of maid service. They were given the Labor Day Weekend off! No towels, no in room coffee, no clean room. When I checked out, no one was at the front desk. For two hours I tried to settle my account. I finally left for my seven hour drive home. I emailed once, called twice, and sent a fax before I could ever get a copy of my bill.

There are better places to stay in Ft. Smith for $65 per night.
