First of all let me say that this place is amazing!! I live in Vancouver, WA but still stay at the Heathman just to get away from home or for anniversaries and birthdays. The employees are great and the rooms relaxing and comfortable. My husband thinks they have the best beds in the world and would probably live there if he could. The kids love the indoor pool and it is nice that the gym is in the pool area so while you work out, you can watch the kids swim. I have stayed in so many different rooms and I definitely recommend upgrading to a suite. Even though you are smack dab in the middle of town it is easy to forget that you are not in a real lodge in the middle of the woods. Amazing!!

Just spent two nights here with my husband and two young boys. Our stay was flawless. We stayed on the business level, and our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast each morning and the friendly staff. The boys enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. We had dinner at Hudson's Bar and Grill, and the food was excellent. The lounge and bar area are warm and cozy with a nice fireplace. Every staff member that we interacted with was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. As for the Tempur-pedic mattresses, well two of us liked them, and two did not, but the complaints were pretty mild. I stayed at this place about 6 years ago, and I can say that it has improved tremendously. When visiting the Vancouver/Portland area, there simply is not a better choice. I look forward to visiting in the future.

I travel extensively for business and often for pleasure. This hotel was recommended by a client that I had flown in to meet with when the Hilton was full and it was so much more than I expected.

A four story timber lodge setting that greets you with a large fireplace and piano bar as you enter. The reception staff was friendly. The balcony room was average and very clean -- I'm picky and have changed hotels over this reason before.

If you get there before 10:00pm, order room service. I had the special from their restaurant, Hudson's, and it was the best room service meal I have had in years. I even called and let them know how great it was.

I won't stay anywhere else in Vancouver/Portland from this moment forward.

The customer service at the Heathman Lodge is EXCELLENT...They did more than just exceed my expectations. The staff was polite and friendly, my team and I were always greeted with a smile. When we booked the hotel we looked for a hotel that mirrored our own corporate beliefs. If you book at any other hotel you may want to reconsider. The amenities Accessibility and the staff will make you feel like you’re at home but with a special twist. My hat is off to the Heatham staff...I only have one thing to say....BOOK IT!!! Other hotels need to benchmark their service after the Heathman.
