I was bitten by bedbugs during my stay at this motel. I do NOT recommend staying there. I have over 200 bites and suffered a great deal.

This is not one of the jewels in the Quality Inn system. After changing rooms we got one that was acceptable, but not near as nice as some of the Quality Inns we have come to expect.
Our first room was extreamly tired and had a piece out of the door that a rat could easily come through.
The desk clerk stated that it must have just happened, however we stayed there two nights and I kept checking to see if it got fixed. It never did and they continued to rent the room.
Emeralds does not exist anymore. It is now a Pizza joint with bad food. The lounge is no longer open. Perhaps they should update their web site.Breakfast was average at best.
Just one other note. If you are travelling and have car trouble do not use Brauning Automotive 3401 Spotsylvania Mall Dr Fredericksburg, VA. They charged me 250.00 /hour for labour to change a waterpump, plus 50.00 to diagnose the problem that had been diagnosed in Pennsylvania for free.

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever seen. Location is excellent in relation to Interstate-95 and local eateries. Rooms have been completely renovated. They are quiet and extremely comfortable. The onsite restaurant (Emeralds) is excellent! Staff are really nice and helpful, especially Ned. The breakfast is very good. I will definately stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel to split up my trip to NC. I should've kept going.

We ended up staying here because every other place was booked. It was the Boy Scouts weekend. And speaking of, WTF are they staying in hotels for anyhow?!?

The hotel lobby had a huge water leak (like a busted pipe or something). So there was water streaming through. I rented a suite--that was a joke. The room was kind of like a normal hotel room, and the "suite" part was a couch and sink in some kind of former janitor's closet. I didn't reallly care too much tho.. just an overnight thing.

The room itself was just.. "grungy". Nothing in particular, just everything was "tired". A lot of commotion in the halls, outside, etc. Sirens too. I felt like I was spending a night in Compton; kept waiting for the random gunfire but sirens was the most excitement.

Later, a coworker of mine said he'd stayed at a Quality Inn one time and that I should be thankful that the air worked. Well, it worked but it literally blew directly on me (laying on the bed) and there was no way to adjust the vents, etc.

All in all it was a 2 out of 5 max. I'll never stay at another Quality Inn ever.
