I read about someone complaining about the air conditioning at this hotel. It never gets above 90F in Fairbanks. I dont know anyone who owns an airconditioner, aside from maybe one you stick in a window, then take out. It is only hot in Fairbanks for about 2 weeks out of the whole year. Ive never stayed at the Regency, but visited guests there, and the room was beautiful. The restaurant had delicious food, but they DO NOT serve vegetables with your steak and potatoes. This is to save them money, the waitress told us. I ate there 8/04, if this strange rule changed, let me know. The restaurant was fancy, but there was a strange sound in there, like a motor or flourescent lights??? It was 3pm, so it was not busy.
