My husband and I went there for our anniversery. We stayed in the jacizzi room and was very pleased with it. The jacuzii was in the bathroom which was a little unromantic. Also we made breakfast in the room in the morning because it had a kitchen, the only problem was that it had no place to eat. There was no table of anykind in the whole room. So we ended up eating food on the floor. The restaurant was great. Not too expensive and nice large portions.

We were in Fairbanks for the summer solsice for 3 nites (June 19, 20 and 21, 2004. On a Holland America landcruise. Was suppose to stay at Westmark but that was changed at last minute.
It was 94 degrees and the air conditioning was a joke. Some of our group got fans but they ran out.
Place needs some general repairs and cleaning.
Starting to show its age. Ice machine was not working on our floor.
Going back in 2005 but not staying at the Regency.

Stayed here for two nights 16 & 17th Sept 2004. Very comfortable and warm rooms. Lovely breakfast and plenty of it. Found the passage ways very hot. Staff very friendly and obliging.

We stayed at this hotel in March after returning from Chena Hot Springs. This hotel was really an excellent choice. The rooms are extra big with lots of room and their service is outstanding. The one night a tour guide failed to show up to take us to see the northern lights so the manager offered to have one of the hotel staff take us out to see them! They also called to find out where this guy was for us. They go out of their way to help you out and are extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again and if you don't you wiss miss a great stay!

PS Get their nightly champagne service, it is very nice also!
