What a nice find. An 80 year old lady we met at the Kantishna Roadhouse in Denali told us about the Ice Museum and that she slid down the ice slide! We had a ball! They show you a very informative film about the March ice sculpture competition, let you go into the 20 degree rooms to view some sculpures close-up and give you a ice sculpting demonstration. A young Bulgarian lady sold us our tickets, scooped us some ice cream and introduced the show to us. She probably ran the projector, too. But she did tell us it was too cold in the refrigerated rooms for her to learn to carve the ice. And of course, we had to try out the slide. We couldn't let our 80 year old friend outdo us!
