This is a very nice restaurant and very popular, so reservations are recommended. It is located in a historic pump house on the banks of the Chena River. You can side inside and enjoy the historic artifacts and atmosphere or outside on the patio and enjoy the scenic river. If you sit outside, you also get to see the riverboat tours come by and a float plane demonstrating take-offs and landings on the river. The food is excellent and of top quality. The halibut was especially good.

Great restaurant! The seafood chowder is so delicious!!!! I requested the recipe on their comment card and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in the mail within a few weeks!! That's service! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The main restaurant is rustic, open and welcome. The bar resembles a 19th century saloon with a wooden carved bar and comfy chairs. The food however is not consistant. I have eaten awesome meals and upon my next visit vowed never to return. I suggest having a drink and snack in the bar or on the deck. There is a lovely view from the deck on sunny days.

We ate at the Punp House and were very disapointed. The servings were small, the food was not well cooked, the fish was not fresh. . For a $100 bill we would have expected much better.
