I really can't say enough wonderful things about this place and Jo and Dale. I have to admit up front to not really being a "bed and breakfast" kind of person. I enjoy the privacy I feel with big, unpersonal hotels. But when I started to look for a great place to relax and rejuvenate, Fairbanks looked pretty bleak. Then I saw the great reviews of Dale and Jo's place and decided to go against my better judgement and stay at a B&B. I'm so glad I did. The room was plush and luxurious. We watched the sun rise in the mornings from our room while we ate Jo's delicious home made breakfast. I don't know when she slept because she woke up throughout the night looking for the aurora for us and when she found one she not only called me to wake me up, but met me outside and showed me where they were. The personal touches were fabulous....little cookies or candy left in the room during the day, a sandwhich sent with us to eat on the plane, I could go on and on. We had a wonderful stay and it was one of the highlights of the entire trip.
