I stayed at the Moose in the Garden B&B in early April 2008, for 8 nights. It is everything 'advertised' + more! The hosts (Kathy and Jeff) are fantastic hosts. I felt welcome there immediately and throughout the entire stay. Breakfast is provided every day (what ever I wanted - they provided). I was also invited to share dinner with them on several occasions, including a family dinner which was a spread like Easter! The views of the Alaska range are fabulous. I saw a moose one morning within a few 100 yards of the house! This is so much better than a hotel. I was in Fairbanks on business on three occasions this winter, and after the first two visits in typical hotels, I will never stay in a hotel again. The house is large, warm, and spacious, and if you want privacy you can have that too. The Wireless Internet access worked great - no problems, and my cell phone reception worked as well. I am coming back to Fairbanks on business trips - 3 more times in the summer of 2008, and I have already booked my return visits at Kathy and Jeff's 'A Moose in the Garden B&B'. We have decided to take a family vacation here in August, and I am bringing my wife and kids to stay here as well.

This beautiful log cabin is in the woods of Fairbanks. The owner is a 4th grade teacher, who is one of the most charming and charismatic people I have ever met. The rooms feel like home, with a shared bath and if you ask nicely she might let you throw in a load of laundry. On a clear afternoon you can sit on the back deck and have one of the
most beautiful views of Denali. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to go off the beaten path and is looking for a little slice
of home while they are up north.
