We took a motorcycle trip from Michigan to Alaska in late June and early July of 2008. Fairbanks was a planned stop. A Co-worker told us about "A Moose in the Garden". We emailed the owner, Kathy several times about our schedule. The night we arrived in Fairbanks, our call to the B&B was answered by Kathy. Our room was ready. She met us upon arrival and were welcomed into her home; A beautiful log cabin in an amazing setting. There are two rooms in the lower level that share a bathroom. A pool table and sauna are available on this level as well. The third room is the loft with a private bathroom, featuring a jacuzzi tub. There is a special space for children to sleep if you are traveling as a family. During our three night stay, Mt McKinley shared her illusive beauty with us on two occasions as we were relaxing on the deck. The view was amazing! The construction of the cabin is captured in print and the photo album is very interesting to look through. A delightful stay for us with the added bonus of making new friends. (Breakfast was the best meal of the day!) We highly recommend a stay at this B&B if you are in the Fairbanks area.
