My Mom and I traveled to Fairbanks after a long day of waiting around Talkeetna waiting for the weather to clear so we could take our flightseeing tour to McKinley. We were late getting to the B & B, but Kathy, our hostess, was there waiting with an abundance of hospitality! She got us settled, gave us the tour, got us some freshly made ginger snaps and milk, asked about our plans for our stay. Unfortunately, the next morning we were leaving before breakfast for a flight up to Coldfoot and spending the day above the Artic Circle. Kathy put together a small bag lunch (in great kid friendly lunch sacks) so that we would have breakfast and snack food. We returned later that evening for another night where we could almost see all of McKinley and sat and chatted with her and Jeff. We left early again the next morning for Seward, but again she left us sack breakfasts to go! She went way beyond what we expected. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a beautiful property and you couldn't ask for nicer hosts!
