We just returned from a stay at the 7 Gables B and B. This is a non-hosted B and B. When we arrived the note on the door said to wander around the house and look for your name on the room door. It was a little odd. We moved our things in and didn't see anyone for several hours. We only saw the owner for a few minutes when he took our credit card. You have access to the entire home, kitchen, e-mail, etc. I travelled with my parents. My room was very nice and had a connecting bathroom, their room was pretty small and they had to go out of the room to the bathroom. There were two other buildings that were being worked on that belonged to the same group. It looked like a motel in the middle of a neighborhood. The breakfasts were out of this world. They were unique in that they chose a different country each day. It was absolutely wonderful! Bananna Crepes, fruit pizza, little muffins. They also had the basic toast and cereal. Overall, this was an acceptable B and B, but it's not the typical- it's more like a hotel without a front desk.
