This was the first time me and my husband have ever stayed at a bed and breakfast. What a wonderful experience.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We were on the first floor of the main house where breakfast is served. The house was very quiet and we didn't realize how many people were really there till we woke up in the morning for breakfast. The breakfast was great, better then what you could get at any hotel. Pancakes, Eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and fruit. Delicious! Oh and the owner makes this delicious jam too.

They had great wireless internet ( for those who want it ) and a very friendly staff. Lambret sat with us in the morning and kept the conversation going at the table. He also is very helpful on what to see and where to go. Overall just a really nice place.

Great selection of rooms, from a single to a seperate building which could sleep 8, all beautifully maintained and with reasonable rates. Excellent breakfast with a variety of servings (hot cakes, eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, cereal etc.) all prepared just before you eat. They offer two different eating times. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Owner sat with us at each meal, sharing info about Alaska and Fairbanks, things to do, places to visit, what to avoid.

I stayed at the Minnie Street B&B twice while in Fairbanks for work, in March and May. Each visit was for 3 weeks. This is by far the best B&B I have ever stayed in! Before my first visit I was nervous about staying here but that feeling left almost the moment I arrived and after I left I couldn't wait for my second trip! This is not your typical B&B, it is like a home away from home. Marnie, Lambert, Vicki and Jim are all wonderful hosts and very accomodating. The entire place is spotlessly clean. The rooms are bright and have little details that make you feel so at home here. The beds are SO comfortable! They prepare a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location is quiet yet very close to the visitor's center and shopping, with easy access to the highway. The hosts are very friendly and are more than happy to provide information about local restaurants, places to go and things to do. They even have a washer and drier (with laundry soap provided) that guests may use (I did several times). While I was here I really enjoyed meeting people visiting from all over the world. I highly recommend this place for visiting guests and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I was alone these two visits but in the future I hope to take a trip to Fairbanks with my husband and intend to include Minnie Street B&B in my plans.
