We enjoy staying in Best Western hotels all over the country and I would have to say this is the worst one that we have come across. The halls and floors creak like an old pirate ship, the traffic noise from the street in unbelievably loud, and the television reception was terrible. It was 4:30 P.M when we requested another room but they said the hotel was full. I can only assume that the other guests arrived on foot because the parking lot was almost empty.
On the plus side, there was an air conditioner in the room, which is unique in Alaska. I was not expecting a five star hotel, but for $140 I would have liked more.
