This is my neighborhood which I rarely eat out in, so trying to stay local my son and I looked up restaurants and this one had good ratings and sounded nice. Seating is a little tight , two narrow spaces make up the bar and then dining area.
Our waitress/hostess was very nice, our busboy was a bit odd. It was crowded but quiet.
The best part of the meal was the freshly baked bread , baked in a clay pot.., delicious!
But ours was a bit burnt on top , my son didn't like that. ( not a kid, 21 and a foodie) I had seen this on the menu Whole Wheat Pappardelle Pork Ragu, Black Olive Puree and was the reason I wanted to go. It was good except the pork cubes were dry , they should have did it more like pulled pork. My son's Black Cod was HORRIBLE! one taste almost made me feel ill. It turned out to be a bit more expensive then I would have liked for Greenpoint. I should have spent the money at Five Leaves , expensive , trendy but yummy! Sorry won't go there again...
