“Very good!”

We booked this hotel because we wanted to have nice hotel standard and pay a decent price for it. Comfort Inn Brooklyn Bridge sure served us very well on these areas.

Hotel was close enaugh to Pacific St. and Atlantic Ave Subway stations so you could easily carry all the shopping bags with you.

FREE Continental breakfast was a good start for the day and staff were very service minded and helpfull when asked some questions about the area and getting from point a to b.

Rooms were great and confortable, nice big tv, FREE INTERNET, towels, big bathroom and AC.

It took maybe 45 minutes to Brooklyn Bridge, although we walked pretty slowly and took many pictures. Awsome views!

Absolutely recommed this hotel to everyone who has legs and don't mind the walk to the subway (7-10 mins). Great place to start NYC adventure.

We found the staff very friendly and accommodating, however, we were placed in a room next to the lobby and the ice maker. The noise was unbelievable as there was obviously very little insulation in the walls or around the door. We could hear every conversation of every person who checked in and the water filling the ice maker sounded like a stream in our room. Each time the ice dropped into the bin there was a loud crashing sound. The ice maker sounded like it was in our room. I have never slept in such noisy conditions before. The room was quite small, but very clean and everything was new. The price of the room was very reasonable for NY and the breakfast was fine especially where it was included in the price of the room. The neighborhood was mostly boarded up warehouses with graffiti. We had a car so did not need to walk, but I would not have enjoyed walking around the area in the daytime or at night. As I said in the beginning, the staff was very nice, helpful and when we complained about the noise they were sympathetic and adjusted our rate as they said they knew that room was a problem. If you are looking for a bargain with friendly service, new facilities, clean accommodations and don't mind the unattractive location I would recommend this hotel. Just be sure and ask for a room on the second floor or higher.

You're not gonna find too many places in the NYC metro area for $129-169 per night that are clean, comfortable, with halfway decent offerings (except for terrible coffee) at the continental breakfast. The rooms are tiny, and the location is a bit gloomy, but the service was friendly and the place was super clean. Free wifi.

My daughter and I just got back from staying 4 nights at this hotel. After reading the other reviews about the area, I was a little worried, about getting to the subway each day... After arriving there, getting to and from the subway was the worst part of the day. But as bad as it was, we were never threatened, except for a few people asking for money. To get into Manhattan was easy, just take the 4 or 5 green line and your there in a jiffy.

The hotel its self is very nice, but in a rotten part of town. Our room was right beside the Pop machine, and we thought how bad can it be? Amazing how many people get thursty through out the night, we would just get to sleep and another can would fall......Just make sure you request another room if this happens to you.

On the good side, the staff were excellent, always willing to take the time and go out of their way to help, with directions and such. We had a nice room, although one of the smallest I"ve stayed in. They served a nice breakfast, the room could be a little bigger, but you can always take it back to your room.

One thing we found out the last day of our stay on the Brooklyn tour, is that just above the subway, there is a large mall there, a whole different world up there.

We had a great time there, but made sure we were always back to the hotel early as to not have to walk in the dark.

“A Place To Sleep.....Don't forget your sense of Adventure !”

We needed to stay in Brooklyn and found a Special Rate of $99 for this hotel .
Because it was pretty new I figured "How Bad could it be ?"
As we got closer to the address I though " Oh ! What are we in for here?" Industrial Buildings, used tire stores etc. and lots of graffiti.

Our room was in the basement.......I kid you not. It was tiny and the small skinny high window looked out at the tires and headlights of cars in the tiny parking lot which they charged for but you could park on the street instead if you wanted.

The room was clean but housekeeping never replaced the coffee supplies and I had to go each day to ask for more.

My key repeatedly did not work and after being out all day it was so frustrating to get down to my dungeon room and not be able to get in. This happened at least 4 times.

One morning one of our "neighbors" were smoking pot and we were woke up to management in the hallway talking to the offenders and the smell drifting into our room.

There are no restaurants or stores to walk to.

If you want to stay in Brooklyn it's not a bad place to stay
if you just want a place to sleep and if you won't need to eat or shop in the area.
