We were pleasantly surprised by the Days Inn Page. The rooms are large, modern, cool and clean and the desk staff were really pleasant and friendly when we checked in. Unfortunately expedia had decided to book us in a smoking room (grr! As an ex-smoker I have zero tolerance of smoke) but this wasn't such a problem and we barely noticed the smell that evening. The views from the corner room were great with The Dam and lake in the distance and there are a wide range of stores including Wal-Mart within easy distance for stocking up on supplies! Page is well-equipped with eateries, bars and restaurants and we had a good meal at the Dam bar and grill which I saw recommended here on Trip Advisor. We had a great night's sleep; crisp linens and really comfortable beds. The complementary breakfast was a standard continental/buffet style but welcome nonetheless. This is a family-oriented hotel though and the breakfast area was full of other people's children pushing in, shoving and.. well, being other people's children! It's not a problem to take the breakfast back to your room though, which we did and the room had a nice "niche" with a good view so that was fine! Overall we really liked this hotel as it has great staff, convenient amenities adjacent and many tourist attractions are a short drive away.

Could not believe that this hotel is rate Nr 1 in Page. It was the worst night that I had during my trip. Very very noisy, people on the upper floor where walking and jumping until 2 AM, you hear everything. Toilet was flooding, no place for the breakfast on the morning.Try to ask for a room on the third floor, could be less noisy

The room was great- a 2 room suite. The bed was fantastic. Desk clerks were very helpful- sent us to Fiesta Mexicana for dinner. Very lively and fun decor and service. Great margaritas. Hotel breakfast was okay. Desk clerks also sent us to Antelope Canyon- fabulous. We did the Lower tour ( less crowded, but lots of stairs and climbs- not for the claustrophobic) and paid there. A Navajo brother and sister, Sheldon and Chelsea guided us through- wow. A guitarist ( Stanley?) was playing halfway through. For me - it was a top experience- I just can't describe it. We ate at the closest trading post and will talk about the friendly service and the BLT with pepperjack sub sandwich probably forever. YUM!! We then went to the Horseshoe Crater (?) but the trail was pretty steep and had thick sand- I bailed halfway to save my knees. Then we headed south toward Flagstaff and found a great side of the road spot on a mountain with a group of Navajo people selling jewelry at tables. What a fabulous day.

For this type of hotel, it would be hard to find better. It was clean and comfortable with a large bed and clean modern bathroom. We found the public computer with internet access very useful and the breakfast was excellent for the price we had paid. A little bit out of town, but we didn't find this to be a problem. On the whole we were very impressed.
