Bashful Bob was full - but referred me to other hotels that enjoy the same reputation. Very very friendly and helpful beyond the quick money you get from tourists. Wow!

I loved Bob,s place. It is an old-style motel and our room, underneath the office was perhaps a little dingy (small windows), but there was plenty of room, cutlery, crockery, a 'fridge and so on. The shower unit could do with a little attention, but it did the job OK and Hey! what do you want for less than $40 a night? In fact Bob charged us only $100 for 3 nights, even less than he quoted. This was easily the best value we had in our 3-week tour.
Bob is a great character, was always on hand and willing to chat and was helpful with advice on the locality. The motel is very conveniently placed as a base to see the many attractions of the surrounding area.

Bashful Bob's is definitely not a luxury hotel. BUT, it is a comfortable, quirky, inexpensive place to stay in Page, AZ at $39/night for a 2-bdr apartment with full kitchen. The place was reasonably clean and in good shape. Bob is very friendly and helpful. Our room also included some wonderful, catchy rhymes written by Bob.

This was one of 9 hotels/motels in which I stayed during a visit to Las Vegas and the National Parks and it was just lovely to encounter the delightful and charming 'Bashful Bob' in a motel devoid of noisy adults and screaming children. (perhaps I just got lucky!) The location is great...within walking distance of shops and restaurants and easy access to Lake Powell.
Even though I only stayed 1 night, having full kitchen facilities was extremely useful and the small gesture such as providing coffee was much appreciated by this coffee drinking female!
If you are looking for super smart facilities...the little extras in the bathroom.....room service (although I'm sure Bob would provide some food if asked)....a swimming pool/ gym...etc.....then go elsewhere.
Bob provides clean and comfortable rooms with the added bonus of a caring individual who is on site to talk to you when you want. Also, Internet access is available and unlike some hotels/motels en route, free.
I was very pleased with my stay at 'Bashful Bob's' (and in total agreement with another review, 'Bashful' he certainly ain't!!!) and would highly recommend this motel.
