was a late arrival coming in the desk clerk cancelled our reservation after trying to autrorize the credit card before arrival. showed up around 1 am to find this out was able to get a room. the room was very dated the lightswitches and room was worn out holes in the walls. looked like the rooms were not updated in the past 35-40 years. at check out the desk clerks looked lost like they did not know how to run a computer.

The best place to stay in the Smokies!!!. Ramada Inn Is right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg and the staff is great. The rooms are very clean too. You will love it here.

I have been staying at the Ramada Four Seasons for the last 15 years. The entire staff is friendly and helpful with problems or any questions that you might have. The rooms are clean and it's with in walking distance to everything downtown. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

My wife and I have been staying here since the 1982 Knoxville World Fair. It's the only hotel we'd consider in Gatlinburg. When we saw the forecast for snow in our neck of the woods, we booked a room and roadtripped south. Helps to be an early retiree. The Ramada is central and convenient to our favorite Gatlinburg night spots. Puckers and the Brass Lantern restaurant. Our favorite pancake place, the Log Cabin, is just around the corner at the Space Needle. You can't find a quieter room along the main strip. Stay in the tower toward the back of the property. I love to end the day with a cold brew sitting on the balcony of the room over looking the green space surrounding the hotel. The wife loves to take a swim. Ignore the bad reviews and book a room here. We'll be back. Thanks Ramada Inn Gatlinburg!

Believe the reviews of this place! it's a freaking DUMP!

I thought myself ok, maybe the others just didn't have a good time, etc. Boy was I wrong! I should have listened to the negative reviews on this site.

None of the doors sealed properly.

The bathroom looked like it was from the early 80's

The carpet was pieced together in numerous places.

There was a hole on the side of the fireplace, a LARGE hole.

There was no hot water 12 hours after using the hottub.

The response I got from the "admin asst." was that the hotel is old, the water heater needed to recharge, if I would have asked they would have done more. Well, old is not an excuse. I paid $600+ for 4 nights for old? The hot water heater needed to recharge, last I checked it didn't take 12 hours! And I did ask for a different room, they had NONE!

Do not stay here! It's a dump and should be shut down! I have filed a complaint with the BBB of knoxville. Also have pictures if anyone would like to see them.
