We planned to attend the midnight parade in Gatlinburg, Tn on July 3, 2008. We stayed at the Days Inn 1109 Parkway.
Do not stay there. That place is nasty, nasty. The flooring was so nasty, The rooms was a disgraced. The beds made noise, bugs crawling in the little bathroom and in the beds to. Needless to say we did not sleep. The bathroom is so nasty, you don't even want to take a shower. No covers on electric, or light switches.
The staff was not friendly at all. No pool, just concrete. Terrible.
I would not recommend no one to stay there. Especially my dog.

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and now I know why! We were traveling with my parents through the Smoky Mountains and needed a place to stay - what a mistake this place was! To start the hotel clerk acted like it was the biggest inconvience to come to the desk and check us in, the lobby was full of smoke, and the hotel itself was in disrepair. We were told we could park in the underground parking and when we did there was tons of water on the floor and it smelled like sewage. The elevator was scary enough but when we walked out to the balcony (our rooms had a "pool view") it was awful, the pool had about a foot of rancid water in it and was full of dirt and trash, there were beer bottles all over the balcony, and mismatched old plastic chairs set up randomly around the balcony. The rooms were musty, the bed "sheets" were old and stained, the walls were discolored, the bathtub had mold and all of the grout was coming off, and the sink was not clean. See the photos we took. We stayed about 10 minutes before deciding we couldn't take it and when we checked out, the same woman at the front desk didn't even ask why we were checking out after only 10 minutes. I would NOT recommend this for anyone at any time - there are lots of other great hotels in town, steer clear of this one. I will never stay at another Days Inn, this is the second time I have had the same experience at their chain.

This place is a disgrace to Gatlinburg! Seriously, I will not stay at a Days Inn Ever Again because of this experience. The room was filthy. Beds were terribly worn out. They tried to make it better by adding new furniture but it didn't work. Please do not stay at this hotel! You'll be very sorry. Oh yeh! The picures they show on the website can't be this hotel.

My husband, and a couple of our friends decided to take a overnight trip to the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge Area. I use trip rewards, and at last minute notice this was the only place available for our size group. We did not get to check in until late the 15th. I was not impressed with this place at all. The carpets definately need to be replaced. The bathroom was very small, and not suitable for even dressing in. The sink and mirror sat seperately then actually in the bathroom. The beds also need to be replaced. In the middle of the bed was a sunken place. For what we payed for the room, it should of been in a lot better shape. I will not consider staying at this Days Inn ever again!
