We booked this room about three months in advance. When we arrived in Gatlinburg at 1 p.m. the front desk personnel was very nasty. We assured her we would wait until 3 p.m. for check in. At 3:05 we come back and she then could not find our reservation. Thank goodness we had our confirmation. She then ask us to come back in a few hours because the room was not clean. We then told her it is after three and we have traveled along way and needed a room. Boy, did we get one. overlooking the swimming pool which had trash thrown in the empty pit. A little water was in it and a large trash can was floating in it with trash. There were bugs in our room. No remote to TV. No permits for our vehicles. The room was filthy. I am not exaggerating. The beds were like sleeping on a board. Truly, I will never stay again. This place needs new management or someone that cares. The lady working behind desk was smoking and never got off of a stool to come to window. She talked to us from the stool. We ask could we please have a room overlooking at least the street and was told No. I wish I could speak directly to a manager. I am a manager of a company and if people felt this way I would want to know.

Stayed here the last week of Oct. 2006 for 3 nights. I was astounded how filthy the rooms were. The carpets were not clean, peanuts under the dresser. The sheets appeared to be dirty with hair and cigarette ashes on them.

I will say the employees were pleasant, but it appears the hotel is mismanaged and run down. The courtyard was in disarray. The swimming pool was near empty with a garbage can on the bottom. Linens were worn and towels were like sandpaper.

Definitely avoid, if possible!!!

This hotel set a new standard for our family's definition of nasty hotels. We have stayed in Day's Suites in other cities so I guess our expectations were based on that. Typically, the rooms are not great but they are clean enough and reasonably comfortable. First of all, the bathroom vanity was missing, The sink was there, it looked like there had been a vanity cabinet once upon a time but now it was missing. There was no tub just a roll in shower, (we were not informed of this) When we used the shower, the entire bathroom floor filled up with water and ran over onto the carpet in the room. There was a good half inch of water on the entire bathroom floor. There were only two bath towels in the room for our family of four and we were not going to use them on the floor. My youngest son slipped and fell, banging his head on the tile. Scared me to death!
Thankfully, he was okay, but we were scheduled to stay there for two nights. We checked out and left after one and went on to our next stop.

Do Not Stay Here!!! First night we arrived the sheets were dirty, had to take them to the front desk to get clean sheets. The fourth day, they cut the water off and did not clean our room or leave any clean towels, had to go to the desk to get towels. The pools are old and not maintained. The water was so milky that we lost a pair of goggles at the bottom, one of the childern dove in to look for them, we could not see the child when she went under the water. Do not waste your time or money on this hotel.
