Well, to start, the room was beautiful. We stayed in a 2 br. condo at the resort. We arrived and they told us they overbooked, but they moved us to a room nicer than what we we going to get! We were put on the 3rd. floor of one of the buildings just pass the guard house.

We only had 1 noise issue because the people next to us tried to fit 8 people in a 1 br. condo. They came back at 3am every morning and made alot of noise.

The staff was friendly. They sent someone to escort us to our condo and show us around. Everyone else at the resort was nice too.

Now, they really don't check your waterpark passes if you bought any. They really just want you to flash them. We bought a pair of 3 day passes and used them 6 of the 7 days we stayed.

This resort is just outside gatlinburg and there is a trolley from the resort to Gatlinburg for $0.50 per/person each way.

The only bad things about this resort I would say is the golf carts. They hog the parking spots on check in day and make it impossible to get anywhere. There were tons of carts going by but none stopped to give us a ride up the hill.

Overall, a nice resort with alot to do.

My family stayed at Westgate Resort during Christmas and we had a very relaxing trip. It was beutiful! The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed. All the staff were nice. We loved the onsite water park and pizzaria - they even delivered to the room. We felt safe at all times. We look forward to our next trip. Meridian, MS

We stayed from January 4th to January 11th, 2008. We had a great time!! Check in was fast and easy (which help after 13 hours of driving) we live in Miami FL. :P
The front desk, maintenance and all staff were excellent (anyhow people from Tennessee seem to be a lot friendlier than here in Miami Florida) the rooms were clean, and nice. You could hear sometimes the people upstairs specially when they were filling up the Jacuzzi, but it was not a big deal. The BBQ was a little broken, but we manage to cook! The stables were close because of the season, but everywhere else were open, so we went horseback riding anyways... GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!, next year we are waiting for a baby and this please is great for children, WE WILL came back!

I have stayed in pigeon forge every yearssense 1997. All I have to say Is I can not get enough of it. I lived there for 6 months in the summer and now every year I go back. I have stayed at pretty much every hotel or cabin rental place in pigeon forge. I have to say that Westgate Resorts was by far the best experience I have had. The private cabins are nice but westgate was just in such a perfect location right in between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. The service was amazing. They take you around on golf carts and the staff was so helpfull and nice. The best restraunts in pigeon forge are by far Johnny carino's Italian in pigeon forge and Sagebrush steak house. There is also a steak house right in gatliburg on the strip that is awesome. The restraunts in this town are amazing. Also can't forget dollywood. I absolutely love dollywood. I have been there so many times. To be honest if you are staying a week or longer make sure you get the season pass. It is worth it. The restraunts in dolly wood are so good. The rides keep on getting better and better. The last time we went was during the barbeque and bluegrass festival and the grand fall rod run. It was awesome the barbeque was the best ever. The Dixie stampede and comedy barn are definently amazing. No matter how many times I have went there I still go back every year. The traffic of course sucks but if you know the back roads your golden :) All I have to say is that I will go back every year probably for a long time. The views are amazing and if you can't appreciate the mountains and the life of the south then this is not the place for you. Its beautiful and the people are great. There might be some buildings that are tacky but if you are paying attention to that then you are not appreciating pigeon forge.
