I recently stayed there for 3 nights and was impressed the minute I drove In. It is very clean, well maintained and the staff were very curteous and helpful, catering to my every wish without hesitation. It is very close to most of the major attractions. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was. The owners, Brenda and Kevin Foley were also extremely nice. I highly recommend this quaint little Bravarian hotel to everyone.

I have stayed with the Gazebo Inn for approximately 18 years. I have always taken friends and family to the Gazebo Inn and have always been treated with respect and kindness. The Inn is very clean and all the appliances work.
Any concern that we have had has always been
treated as a major concern for the Inn personnel.
They always give us coupons for discounted
food and attractions. I am not comfortable taking
my friends or family to any other institution because the Gazebo has always exceeded our expectations for a wonderful time. Also the location is great for walking anywhere you want to go in Gatlinburg. My last visit was 2003, however,
I am going to visit August 24,25,26,27 of this year.

My family and I have been going to this place for a few years now and we love it here! My kids love swimming and you know how hard it is to find a neat kept up pool. The one at The Gazebo is the nicest most kept up pool around! The rooms are neat and comfortable! The staff is very nice and friendly! we will always stay at The Gazebo!

This hotel was recommended to me by the Glenstone, so I assumed it was of equal quality. Far from it - DO NOT RESERVE A ROOM HERE!!!
As soon as I checked in and saw the rooms I wanted to check out and move to another hotel, but guess what? This hotel runs your credit card for the whole stay the minute you check in, and refuses to give any refunds. Yes, that is right - no refunds for any nights! They say that is their policy, but it is not posted anywhere, nor are you informed when you make a reservation, or at check in.

The hotel is old, the rooms are not maintained at all - one of our rooms had a hole in the wall behind the door, bubble gum and hair and dirt in the refrigerator, a chipped mirror, dust everywhere, dim lighting, carpet that felt crunchy from who knows what, stained mattresses, rusted hardware on the nightstand, goo on the phonebook, the phone was so filthy you were afraid to touch it, and you had to "sign out" an iron and ironing board at the front desk (the iron was also dirty) There are no blow dryers in the room, no coffee makers, and the towels are old and worn and brown!!!
The hotel is dimly lit at night, and not safe. There was a family living in one of the rooms near us - the man never wore a shirt, his wife sat in her room with no shirt on, and they were cooking on a portable stove outside their room!

Tell everyone you know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! If you go there, you cannot get a refund, the hotel is disgusting, the staff is not helpful and the owner argues that his hotel is wonderful.
