We stayed at the Gazebo Inn a few years ago, and I was impressed at the room for the rate. We had three people staying in the room. It was plenty spacious. It had a small kitchen and even some kitchenware that came with it. The location was great--we were within walking distance of the main street in Gatlinburg. The pool was nice as well. Since it was priced much below anything else we found in the area, I would highly recommend it.

The staff at the Super 8 motel were extremely rude! At check-in and check-out. One morning I was trying to make some english muffins in the toaster and when i wasn't looking, the muffins caught on fire, literally flaming, the lady at the front desk simply looked at the toaster and didn't seem to care about the situation. She was very inconsiderate as she sat on the couch watching. Also the 2nd and last night we were there, we came back to our room around 1:00am and we were locked out. Neither key worked! No one was at the front desk, the person I reached at the emergency number, who didn't work at this hotel, said it wasn't her problem. I had to argue with her to get someone to come unlock the door. Needless to say we won't be going back to this hotel!

We made reservations through Vacations Made Easy but they made a terrible mistake and booked us for Branson.
We had no hotel reservations in Gatlinburg nor tickets for The Dixie Stampede Dinner Show. Vacations Made Easy would not help us in anyway.
The Gazebo Inn after hearing of our situation gave us a room at a lower rate. We can't say enough good things about the gentleman who was the night manager of the Gazebo Inn in Gatlinburg. He was certainly "our knight in shining armor".

not bad for an economy motel.we checked several motels on this trip and this was the cheapest in the area we stayed in which was just above the convention center.the room was clean which is always the biggest thing with us.certainly not elaborate but not that is not what we wanted.we wanted a clean budget motel and got that.the desk answered any questions we had and i thought were friendly enough.it is only about a 5 minute walk to the main stream which is great since parking there is terrible in prime time.
just a couple of quirks with the room.the towel rack was off the wall on one side and no cover on the fan light in the bathroom.other than that we were satified with what we got for the money which was about 10 dollars cheaper than any motel we price including econo lodge.so our verdict would be if saving a few bucks don't mean that much pic another place.if a few bucks in your pocket is worth doing with a little less the room is ok.
