we stayed here on our Anniversary. I think it used to be considered a very nice place to stay in Gatlinburg. It's actually pretty old and dated, and although it's been maintained reasonably well, it's not really somewhere I'd choose again.
It was reasonalby clean, rooms are big and spacious, balconies are nice and big also.
It's bascically a big high rise motel, not a hotel at all. No restaurant, room service, just a dimly lit, dingy breakfast room hidden on a middle floor by the elevator. We passed on this, just grabbing some OJ on our way out to a real pancake house.
Bathroom was early 80's glam, real tacky, but pretty clean. People are nice from what we saw, we weren't there much.
Didn't swim in the pool, but it looked nice enough.
One thing was real annoying. There was NOT enough parking! We drove around for 5 minutes waiting for someone to leave so we could park, but finally we gave up and parked out on the side lot. A little inconvenient, but hey this is gatlinburg!
This is a nice, reasonable place to spend a weekend, and prices aren't too high. It's basically ok, if you aren't really big on modern decor.
