I had heard good things about Doe's Eat Place in Little Rock, so was happy to see that they opened a Doe's on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. Their tamale dish exceeded my expectations--3 tamales smothered in chili and cheese, and served with onions, pico, olives, tomatoes, peppers, etc for adding as you wish. The crawfish pasta dish was fine--not as spicy as expected, though. The restaurant is set back from Central Ave, in the back of the parking lot, by the water, and, though the inside decor is cute with old signs and rough wood, I'm looking forward to going back when the weather is nicer so we can sit out on the deck to watch the boats and people while we eat!
