My son and I stayed at the Lion' s Inn for two nights a few weeks ago. The room was large and comfortable and you could not ask for better hosts. The pool and patio were a great place to escape the heat and socialize with Floyd, Stuart and other guests. Wine and cheese at 5:00 each afternoon. What a wonderful place this is! It is like staying with good friends.

I can not possibly express in words the amazing hospitality and genuine warmth that myself and my friends experienced while staying at the Lions Inn. From the moment of arrival, to the sad departure, my time here was NOT to be outdone, and I doubt, ever will be outdone again.

The quiet moments in the backyard eden, to the wine and cheese evenings in the backyard oasis, with other guests, friends, and Stuart, were outstanding.

I felt ver safe here, even while exploring the neighbourhood alone, or while walking "Bubba", the adorable mascot.

The othere guests became instant friends from all parts of the world.

I was very sad to leave. The surroundings are beautiful, both inside and out. I can't imagine staying anywhere in New Orleans, other than at the Lions Inn. A home away from home. Actually, I kind of prefer my New Orleans home better...** grin **

You can bet your bottom dollar, that I'll be returning, and as soon as possible.

My husband and stayed in one of the Lion's Inn private condos over Easter. The condo was in a quiet residental area, but only a few blocks from any French Quarter attraction we wanted to see. The unit was spacious, clean, comfortable, and affordable. We decided on the Lion's Inn after reading the good recommendations from other visitors on TripAdvisor, and we weren't disappointed. This place is just great.

The Lion's Inn is like comming home to friends. It has a very layed back atmosphere where guests and the Innkeepers mingle and socialize. The hot tub and pool are wonderful to come back to after a late night in the French Quarter, just a few blocks walk from the front door. This was our first time in New Orleans and the Lion's Inn, but we hope to be back again and again.
