My sister and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Maison de Macarty. We especially liked a few things: the bikes that are available to borrow; the breakfast was gourmet; the feel like home - get a snack from the fridge when you come home; hospitality of course; and the outdoor pool area. We biked all over the place - to the jazz fest, to the French quarter and it was perfect. The house is quite quaint and off the beaten path, but no more than a refreshing bike ride away. I have not stayed at many B&Bs, I plan to now in the future. Hopefully the standard is not set too high!! Also, the price was reasonable which I can really appreciate as well.
