We went for a room with a view of the harbor and it was worth it. It was a great feeling in the morning to look out over that peaceful harbor (and a cruise ship). Easy walking to all the local restaurants.

Rooms were decorated typical Hilton Express - it was very clean with great service and support. Very good value compared to other choices.

Fair value for money. Good hotel position. Rooms are good, breakfast is ok, room service low quality. Pool/Spa very small.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after a cruise and were pleasantly surprised. We booked online thru the Holiday Inn website and got a good rate. The location of the hotel is great, right on the harbor and had great views, we spent some time in the late afternoon watching otters play in the water right outside the hotel and Bald Eagles fly overhead. The room was large and had a microwave/fridge. We did not have a harbor view, but still looked out to the mountains. In the morning they have a nice complimentary breakfast buffet and the high speed wireless internet is free. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I'm not sure why, but I never have high expectations of a Holiday Inn, and this one sure proved me wrong. A great place to stay close to where the fiord cruises take off with complimentary breakfast and wi-fi. They even have a computer with a printer in the lobby to print off your boarding passes if needed. Friendly staff, indoor pool and hot tub, and updated rooms. What's not to love?
